Develop a hybrid Health Check application for the client to review the status of job assignments on their iPad/android device.

Tata Technologies approach

We developed this application for the client which ensures the credentials of a valid user and displays data regarding the job through the web service.

On logging into the application, the domain information would be captured and application status would be sent as a response to the user.

The system will display the available domains and their status. When the user clicks on the status, the system will display all the applications available under that domain. After clicking the application, the activity, severity, status and remarks will be displayed.

Value to Client

The Health Check application for iPad/Android allowed the Client's registered users to view the status of all the applications under their domain.

The MES solution required to interact with vendors for better Production Planning & Assembly Line Sequencing.

Developed one of the first MES Package-Integrated Production Management System(IPMS)- in SAP based on the world class ERP Package of year 2003-SAP 4.6C.

IPMS loaded with features like Build-Card Generation, Monthly/Weekly/3-Day Planning of vehicle, Aggregate Planning, VIN Generation, Real-time Aggregate & Vehicle Production & Quality Data Capture with alert & warning on wrong assembly, Line Stoppage Capture.

Mobile data acquisition devices with RF Technology combined with Barcode Technology used for faster & accurate shop-floor data capture & improved productivity.

This application was integrated with the Client's ERP System of SAP 4.6C and ECC 6.0 afterward for automated production confirmation.

The System has recently been integrated with SRM for efficient communication of Assembly Line Sequence to vendors to achieve Just-In-Sequence Inventory Management at the Plants.

The MES Solution allowed the client to operate its Production Planning & Manufacturing Operations in controlled IT environment.
