What is the difference between Any, All and Excluding keywords?

Please login to subuser account and go to Resdex for Search Resumes

Below is the detailed description of keywords -

  1. Any Keyword: This will search for resumes containing at least one of the keywords you would mention here.
  2. All Keyword: This will search for resumes containing all the keywords you would mention here.
  3. Exclude Keyword: This will exclude the resumes containing any of the keywords mentioned here.

For Example:

  1. Any:    "Marketing Manager”, “Brand Manager”, “Product Manager”
  2. All:    “Promotion”, “Pricing”, “Product Mix”,
  3. Exclude:    “FMCG”, “Consumer Durable”

The above search query will look for resumes with the keywords (“Marketing Manager” OR “Brand Manager” OR “Product Manager”) WITH (“Promotion” AND “Pricing” AND “Product Mix”) & WIHTOUT (“FMCG” OR “Consumer Durable”).

How to do Boolean search in Naukri?

Boolean Search is a type of search allowing users to combine keywords with operators such as AND, NOT and OR to produce more relevant results.

  1. AND is the simplest function to apply. Any search terms that follow an AND command must appear in the result. For example: Recruiter AND “Head hunting”
    This will give results that include both the word Recruiter and the phrase “Head hunting”.
  2. OR provides options into a search. Usage of the OR command allows you to create a list of possibilities for which only one match is important. For example, the following search phrase would give you results that contain one or more of the stated words: Recruiter OR ""Talent Acquisition"" OR ""Head Hunting""
  3. NOT is the command of exclusion. An example: Recruiter NOT Payroll.
    This would give you results that contain the word Recruiter, but leaving out any that contains Payroll.

How can I search for freshers?

You may use below approach in order to search fresher’s in our database.

  1. Go to Resdex-->Search Resumes
  2. Scroll down to the option of "Total Experience".
  3. Search for experience range as “0” to “0” yrs. Moreover, if you relax the exp range to “0” to “1”yrs the results will go further up
  4. Alternatively, you can also use the graduation year in Education. For instance, specifying the passing-out year of “MBA/PGDM” as “2018-2018" will give you the results of all candidates who will be completing their MBA in 2018.
How can I search only Women candidates in Naukri Database?

Please follow below steps:

  1. Go to Resdex
  2. Scroll down to the “Additional Details” and click on it to Expand.
  3. Click on “Search Women Candidates Only”
How can I search resumes from a location which is not available in drop down in Naukri Database?

Please follow below steps:

  1. Go to Resdex & click on “Search Resumes"
  2. Type your desired location. If it is not available, click “Search here”
  3. Type the location and Search
Why I am getting the error message: "You have completely utilized maximum limit of CV Access."

This error occurs when you utilized the quota of CV access available to you. In such a case, please contact your super-user/relationship manger or drop an email at support@naukri.com.

How to send emails to the candidates in Naukri Database?

Please follow below steps:

  1. On search result page, Select up-to 160 resumes & click on “Send Email”
  2. Fill up the Email form & mandatory filters of exp. & CTC and click on "Preview and Send"
  3. Click on "Send"
Why am I not able to send mass mail to all candidates?

If you are getting the error of "x/y candidates contacted", this could be because of either of the below scenarios:

Scenario 1: You have not specified Exp. & Salary in search form but have specified the same while sending bulk mailers
Scenario 2: You have specified different Experience and salary range in search form and mass mail interface

So, it's recommeneded to click on "Check" option to confirm the no. of candidates you will end up contacting and if there is a GAP in number, please check the above scenarios.

  1. Always click on "Check" option to know how many candidates will be contacted

 

Note: Its always recommended you should perform a search with the relevant exp. and salary range to avoid this situation.

Why am I getting an error message of "Email to Candidates not sent since you have already contacted them in last 7 days" while sending mailers?

You are getting this message because:

  1. A recruiter cannot send the same email to a jobseeker more than once within 7 days.
  2. A recruiter cannot send more than two different emails to a jobseeker within 7 days.

This is done to improve the jobseeker experience W.R.T Resdex emails and subsequently improve the mail delivery rate.

In order to mail the candidates whom you have not contacted so far, please hide these candidates from search result page using hide Emailed functionality.

How can I change the email content for sending mailers for different position within a logged-in session?

In order to view compose email page, please follow below steps:

  1. Click on "Modify" option instead of clicking "Send Email" button
  2. If you want to view compose email page/edit content on every page, Uncheck the below option
Why am I getting logged out/Reset from Resdex?

Please note this may happen due to the following reasons:

  1. You have not logged out from Naukri properly (closed the browser directly).
  2. Some other user is logged in with the same sub-user name simulatenously.(Please check if its being shared within different recruiters in your organization)

In order to reset the logged in user, login to Super-user Account and follow below steps:

  1. Click on Product Settings
  2. Click on Reset Subuser(s) Logged in Resdex
  3. Select the desired user and click on Reset.
How can I download the Summary of Candidates in an Excel sheet?

Please conduct a search on resdex and then follow the below steps

  1. On search result page, Select CVs via check box & click on “Add to Folder”
  2. Under Resdex-Personal Folders, click on desired folder name
  3. Click on "Download"
How can I generate Resdex Usage Report?

Database usage report allows you to keep a track of the database usage in your oragnization.

 

Note: This report is available for last 1 year and current date usage is available next day.
If you are a super-user, you can also set an auto emailing of report by specifying the e-mail ID & frequency (weekly/Monthly)

How can I hide the CVs that I have already viewed on the search result and only work on the CVs that I haven't viewed?

Please follow below steps:

  1. Go to Search Resumes & Conduct a Search
  2. On search result page, click on "Hide profiles"
  3. Chose the action & then click on "Hide Profiles"
Where can I check the CVs that I have already accessed in Naukri's database?

Please note, you can view repository of resumes accessed by you in last 90 days in “My accessed CV” folder by following below steps:

  1. Login to subuser a/c and Click Here OR
  2. sGo to Resdex-->Personal Folder-->My Accessed CVs

 

Note: Access includes: “Viewing CV”, “Downloading CV in excel”, “Clicking on view phone number”, “Export cv to e-Apps (if applicable)“.

How can I check the responses of the mass- mailers in my Naukri's account?

Please login into the Sub user Account and Click Here.

 

Note: The data is available for last 1 week only

How can I view the searches that I performed today?

Please login and go to Resdex-->Search Resumes.

Click on "Recent Searches" expand button (+)

 

Note: Recent searches show all searches done during current day, these are only available in account till 11.59pm of the same day.

How can I search for newly registered candidates in Resdex?

Please specify your search criteria (Keyword, exp, location etc.) on Resdex form and the scroll to the bottom of the page.

Select the option of "New Registrations" under "Display Details" and click on Search

 

Note: Result will appear basis the last active date selected.

How can I get "Search Alerts" for the searches I have performed?

The option of "Search Alerts" helps you in getting an alert regarding the addition of new CVs & modifications in existing CVs in the searches saved by you. This keeps you updated with the additions/modifications without even logging to your Naukri's account.

Please follow below steps in order to enable the same:

Login to Employer’s account-->Go to Resdex-->Go to saved searches OR Click Here.

  1. Login to your Naukri Account and click on "Saved Seaches" under "Resdex"
  2. Keep your curson on desired search name and click on “Set Alert”
  3. Select the frequency : Daily/Weekly/Monthly alert options and click on Save
How can I disable "Search Alerts"?

The option of "Search Alerts" helps you in getting an alert regarding the addition of new CVs & modifications in existing CVs in the searches saved by you. This keeps you updated with the additions/modifications without even logging to your Naukri's account.
