Tolaram Group has always believed that it is important for a business to do good while doing well. Even in our humble beginnings, we have engaged in philanthropy and volunteerism. Our efforts covered a diverse range of areas such as education and sports, aiding the physically and mentally challenged, community development, childcare, and healthcare.
In 2006, we joined the Singapore Compact for CSR, a national society promoting CSR efforts in Singapore.
In 2008, we joined the United Nations Global Compact, of which the Singapore Compact is a member. Our Group subscribes to the 10 ethical principles of the UNGC that cover human rights, labour standards, environment and anti-corruption.
Tolaram Group aims to become a sustainable organisation with an interest in the triple bottom line: Profit, People and Planet.
